Car Info: always changing...
Thanks guys!
I wonder what other goodies it has...
johndabrit- if you want it let me know. The auction is tomorrow in San Diego. It has "run and drive" verification but I don't trust the yard. To them run and drive means that when it arrived it started and was able to move under it's own power a couple of feet... doesn't mean it will do either of those things now. But if that tranny is good... it's totally worth it.
Current bid is $925 so with fees, if that bid one, it would be about $1400-$1500. There is a reserve on the car. I don't know how much it's for though.
However, and this is cool, if I get it I get a clean title. So it's not salvaged.

If you have the proper license you can bid for yourself. Otherwise I can bid for you, I charge a small fee of $250 to get cars for people. I would need a deposit of $400 or 10% of your bid before I'll place one. That's the amount the yard charges me if I don't come through with full payment or removal of the vehicle.
To break it down.
Full payment must be received within 48 hours of winning the bid via Cashiers check or direct deposit (wire). No other forms of payment are accepted by them. If the payment is late they charge $50/day. Keep in mind that they are not open on weekends so they get you with that. I've been charged late fees too many times to remember over dumb **** like them not having a mailbox at some locations so if they weren't there (say a holiday or something) then the payment is considered late... yes, that has happened to me. I sent in a payment which would have arrived on a Saturday. The place I sent it to does not have their own maildrop... Monday was a holiday and while they were open the mail wasn't so they didn't get the payment until Tuesday which was late... of course.
The vehicle must be removed within 4 (some are five) days or storage fees of $20/day starts to accrue. I've got a few shippers I use so I can help set that up. It's usually good to start looking before you win.
I have until 11am tomorrow to put in a proxy bid. However, I will be at a Dr.'s appt all morning so I won't be able to do much after tonight.
Think about it. If anyone is interested let me know and we'll go from there.
Otherwise, I'll post up what it sold for just for curiosities sake.
