I knew I started this post for a reason.
Hope this helps
and I have put about 7500 in my car in mods in the last 18 months, but spending time in Iraq and Kuwait lets you do that because you have little to no bills.
haha I forgot we even had that thread. I'm even the first person to reply to it lol

Not sure if people are also taking into account that modifying the right way also requires tuning and testing. The testing is usually free but the tuning can cost as much as the mods that you do to your car. EG: Dyno tuning time usually runs about $80-100 per hour. Also, labor if you don't do the installs add on top of the mods; this is usually omitted for the cost of the modded parts.

I can explain it very simply, men like to have the more "powerful" of everything. Bigger house, more powerful car, hotter wife. Simple Freudian philosophy. By the way, Japanese spend immensely less than Americans do on car mods.

There, now go make paper.

I can almost guarantee the Japanese cannot spend the same . Hell, just food and rent takes 60-70% of their income! I know, I lived in Tokyo for two years.
you are a luck lucky man but i think that you already know that.... haha

Stock car $
Moded car -$

It equals out.

I'd have fun writing a paper on same topic but switch modded or not cars too girlfriends and wifes. And ask about money again.

cars can become a money pit. ever since i got my car last year i have spent a huge amount of my savings n income on modifications. i have spent close to 9k on my car. i think when it comes to money spent on modifying cars it varies from person to person depending on their goals n budget.
