I've also had good results, service and turnaround, over at Auto Innovations in Milpitas.

I'm also looking for a shop that can do a good alignment on my new set of coilovers. (Adjust the height, corner balance, etc). Not just an alignment shop, one that specializes with performance cars, especially cars with aftermarket suspension like coilovers.

I always take my car to Auto Innovations over in Milpitas for alignments and such, but I'm not sure if they deal with custom coilover work (like mentioned above). They have done great work for me and everyone else I know, but I'll have to call them to see if they can do work on my car, I'm not 100% if they can do corner balancing.

I'll give them a call tomorrow and let you guys know what they say. They are subaru friendly and have even posted on these forums in the past. People from BAIC have been going there as early as 2000-2001, so they have a GREAT reputation, I just hope that they can provide the work that I need because I don't want to take it somewhere weird/that I don't know.

Can anyone chime in about Auto Innovations? Do they corner balance?

I don't know about AI, but the only bay area shop I really trust for corner weighting is Custom Alignment in Mountain View

+2 for Custom Alignment. They asked me over the phone how many people normally ride in the car, how much I weigh, and what I use the car for (autox, track, commuting, etc.). Pretty rare to have a shop ask those kinds of questions. Expensive but they do excellent work.

Also, the place in Hayward is Motorsport Techniques. I had them perform a number of alignments for me in the past and they also did nice work.

After yesterday, I can tell you that Spring Works in Santa Rosa is the LAST place I'll ever go for an alignment. Bait and Switch, jacked up pricing, and all sorts of "up-selling" is their way of doing business.
