I think that it's bull**** that they sell you an UNLIMITED plan and then start to cap your usage with fees and/or slow down of data pull. My connection gets WAY slower towards the end of the month. Utter B.S.

Faster connection for what reason then, oh to use it more......

I just said I'm NOT TALKING ABOUT SPIKES.
IM NOT TALKING ABOUT SPIKES IN DATA SPEED! i get the same speeds wherever I go! and no faster data does not make people use more data it just makes it load faster. iclub on 3g will load slower on lte, but its still the same amount of data. Streaming a 3 hour netflix on 3g is still the same data as lte. Can you watch more then one movie at a time on your phone? NO so it does not make people use more data!

Yeah, I've got the Skyrocket (AT&T) and I've been testing the Speed all over the place. I just tested it in Fremont (Over at Weinerschnitzel since I was there for lunch).

Ping - 52ms
Download - 30312 kbps
Upload - 16718 kbps

At work (off of Nobel - Basically behind the Car Dealerships in Fremont) I got.

Ping - 49ms
Download - 7432 kbps
Upload - 4296 kbps

Oh and since Heedz mentioned the Monday night meet in Dublin that was:

Ping - 56ms
Download - 30991 kbps
Upload - 13077 kpbs

I've been very happy with this phone and would definitely recommend it if you are looking to get a phone on the AT&T network. For the areas that I live & work I've been happy with the coverage, but it really depends on the coverage in your area. Certain providers will be better in certain areas than others, but AT&T is working to install new towers and for the areas that I am in I'm happy with what I've got.

im pretty sure (tell me if im wrong Heedz) hes saying that with faster speeds.. ppl will use their data faster because they dont have to wait around for it.

Some ppl do minimal data usage on their phones because its slow.. now that speeds are really picking up, ppl might start to use it more offten thus using more data

I have a Droid Bionic on VZW, pretty happy with it once I rooted it and gave it a Pro Tune!

That being said I am on my 3rd one as I managed to break 2 of them but that is no reflection on the phones quality as I broke or lost 26 phones in 2011 according to my local VZW store!

Thanks for the information. And yes I was concerned about the LTE coverage of at&t... if you actually look on their website, the LTE coverage is 15 cities from central America to East Coast and none on the west coast...

Whereas Verizon has it everywhere. That's where I'm kinda confused. Does verizon have free mobile to mobile to any provider? I'm currently with at&t, and my upgrade has been due the past 6 months, but I wasn't really interested in phones, but now I believe the Android > Iphone. So I want to move in that direction, more places/applications are storming out with Android available devices.

It's for personal use, what other phones besides the Galaxy II on at&t are there?

I'm considering a switch to verizon depending on cost of the monthly bill with/without unlimited data, but again that all depends on weighing the pros and cons with phones. I heard the nexus and the razor are damn sexy.
