if you have a verizon upgrade, you can get the Droid Bionic for $149 at Bestbuy, NEXUS for $299, Razr for $199. Pretty good deals.

Damn that sucks , good thing Google is releasing a 'phone must be' list so that standardized updates will be possible in the future... hopefully it will solve issues like that.

Yes I am an att subscriber. With a galaxy.
My wife has had Sprint for over 10 years and within the last year, their service has gotten terrible! I was talking to her on the phone and within a 5min call, the call was dropped THREE times! Also my Verizon 3G speeds are faster than her 4G speeds.

I just upgraded from the Droid Pro (i loved that phone and never had a problem) to now the Droid Razr and its AMAZING.

Here is a 4G speed test from last Sun.
Also VZ will only throttle you when you are in the top 5% of usage in the nation.. for my Nov billing cycle i used over 25 gigs of dads

Jeez that 41mbps is crazy. If they had 4G out here I'd switch over to Verizon in a heartbeat.

Edit: Nevermind I just checked their map and they do have coverage out here

I just realized in my last post i put "dads" instead of "data"

well 41mbps is not going to be always the case. That was just the best connection speed i had gotten. My house doesnt get a great 4g connection (half bars on) but i constantly pull 9-15 mbps

Im at work right now and have been hitting 29mbps.

So it just depends on location.. still better than 3g

That's probably the best way to get into the top 5% of data users

you dont have the skyrocket and thats the lte phone, Sprint is the worst and the data speeds you get with "4g" is so slow!! verizon and att both throttle you if you are in the top 5% of all data customers. I use about 15 gigs per month and have not been in the top 5% yet.

verizon > att with voice service
att > verizon with data service

Matt, you're not understanding the point..... if you're getting that speed you reach your so called cap of data on unlimited and get throttled WAY faster. I ain't talkin about no spike in your DL or UP
