The last time I got asked for a street race was at the Eggettes meet in south city by the boyfriend of an i-club memeber with an MR2....I politely declined and we talked him into coming down to an AutoX event. He was 6 seconds off the pace and was thouroughly owned. Very amusing.

Umm well since I own both a suby and a powerstroke diesel superduty I assume its cause there's nothin quite like blowing black soot all over the front of a rice burner in an 8000lb truck.

And for the typical ricer civic it always seems to surprise them how that big truck gets up and goes. 13 second diesel pickups are not THAT rare. And that's with basic bolt ons and a chip/programmer. Plenty of 11 and 12 second trucks out there too.
