Are locking lug nuts necessary?
Hi all,
I just bought a set of work emotions off a fellow member here.
Just wondering if i am living in the berkeley area, are locking lug nuts necessary?
anybody have their wheels stolen in the berkeley area?
I will go to oakland sometimes, but not all the time.
I live around the campus.
TIA.
edit: and where can i get them in the san jose/milpitas area?
i know auto innovation is one of the places, any other options?

dude...oakland isn't the only place where u could get ur wheels jacked... but anywho, i'd just get some subaru lock lugs... 35ish bucks to protect ur wheels from the common theif is a cheep buy... altho, if someone really wanted ur wheels, it WILL be gone

i just got some mcgard tuner's lugnuts from auto innovation.
they don't have the locking ones in stock right now.
am i safe for a while?
or are those just for looks and are as easily taken off as the oem lugnuts?
