I have them on both of our vehicles. No issues or problems at all.
And yes, you'd be doing something pretty stupid to shear it off or open it. That means you have reached your oil pan, HELLO!

Right now I'm spending most of my time out on deliveries in the East Bay and San Francisco...since we're a parts driver short, and missing a shipping guy (out on medical leave).

BTW, the nipple adapter units cost an additional $2.00, and will have to be ordered in the next batch. Most people can do without, however.
