yeah verc thats pretty lame that you went out and trashed cars then bought the one you didn't drive.
why do you think someone else is going to want the car you trashed if YOU didn't even want it? Plus its during the breakin period...

I've never had problems with them over there. The service guy is always cool. The only complaint I have is that when you take the car in for the recommended maintenance, the prices are super high.

Thats amazing that someone took a test drive totalling over an hour!!!! Well, at least your buddy bought that car, I would feel somewhat guilty for taking out a car for that long! I think the most I ve ever test drove a car was like 10 min! As for "trashing" a new car on a test drive, what did you REALLY do??? Because you back pedaled pretty hard when another member told you that it wasn't cool. Then you said you "only grinded 1st gear"! You wonder why dealerships don't want to give testdrives to potential customers, they have to guage the interest of the stranger off the street, you think these salesmen dont' read these boards???

WRX Paid
I think between $23-$24 is the right range for Northern California.
I purchased mine for $23,7XXX OTD (WRB WRX 04, Short-Shift, Premium Package = seat warmers, sun roof, and small spolier)
I "think" it also depends on how much cash you put down and the financing rate/time. Some people said I got a great deal, others say that I could of gotten better.
Of course I called and visited every Suby dealer in the Bay Area over a month.
I put $12k down and did the 2.9% 30 month financing.
My feeling if you are in the $23-$24 range in the Bay Area then you did your homework and got a good deal.
