there's allot of crazy SAR/CSAR orgs in California. the swift water rescue guys from north bay counties get called to just about every floor or hurricane there is.

SAREX is a huge yearly event where people from all over gather. last year it was at donner park http://ncssar-nc.org/sarex/index.html

I think this year it'll be at yosemite, and next year we "think" it's going to be at treasure island (for urban SAR).

Anybody drive on calaveras the last couple days and see a blue truck barely off the road?

yea i did... i was wondering why it was abandoned.

SAR sounds really awesome. what a great way to help the community. id really like to join as soon as college is over
