I'm getting either one of these tires today and wonder how many miles some of you BAICs have gotten from them. Just for reference, I got about 18K from my Hankook RS2s (no track/autox) just commuting and "spirited driving".

it's not that bad, I mean, if you're trying to act stupid in them, you're gonna crash...but just like you would with any tire. My girl drives pretty aggresively and she's had the 615s on there with a good amount of rain. You should be aight.

RT615s are fine in the wet at full depth.
They get sketchy when they get below 4/32 in puddles.
But theres nothing wrong with the compound itself- it sticks fine on damp pavement but it isnt the best in terms of hydroplaning resistance and you only get 8/32 to start.
RT's are about 10k mile tires for me.

I had the MX for ~20K miles, with 2 track events. They sucked. Less grip than the RE070 and short life. But they were cheap. Never tried the 615s. I stuck with Bridgstones now. The RE01R are great, though a bit expensive.

I p00ssied out and got the MXs...
Ultimately they were cheaper and 3lbs lighter than the rt-615s. Both are certainly overkill for my commute to work
I've had S03s before the RS2s and loved them too. The MXs have a similar tread pattern, so I'm guessing they're just as good in the rain (we'll see tomorrow).
