.... Life isnt fair
Okay, so me and a two friends of mine decide to go to tapioca express in Union city. And what in the world happens? *sigh*. We see two BRAND NEW sti's parked right next to eachother. WRB and black. Both have the whole package. As i stood there, ordering my drink (milk tea with coconut jelly), i thought to myself, "Life doesn't get any worse than this. I just finished an argument with my mother, being that she doesn't like the '02 wrx at all, so she told me to buy a new Honda or Acura (i know i know, typical asian mom huh?). And here after a huge argument, i am taunted with two brand new stis RIGHT NEXT TO EACHOTHER. ANd now, they're driving away... away from me."
And that folks, is the story of my sad, sad, Sunday evening.
Oh yeah, btw, who were those two asian guys?! ANyone here???

Haha. How sad. Anywho, I might end up getting the cl type s. Not complaining. Just wishing i would get the wrx. Especially since i've been doing tons of reading up on it and stuff for the past 2 years. . There goes all that. Now i'm going to get a car that isn't even tuneable. . So i'll be one of those guys driving a honda/acura. But it won't even be in the same category. I'll be driving an old person's car. IM TOO YOUNG to drive a CL. I need some adventure in my life, and a CL is HARDLY an adventure.

dude how old are you? and how are you going to let your parents sell your wrx (or their wrx)? and dude, there are FAR worse things in the world than having to buy a car you don't want. dizzle just tore his knee in half and won't be walking without crutches for a couple months, nev just had some jackass total his car and hurt his back, and me? i had somebody rip out my heart and throw it in a meat grinder. so count your blessings and try to focus on the good things in your life.

I was lucky to get a used 92 Integra when I turned 18 (that was back in 99), so how's that sad? I learned how to appreciate just owning any car and gradually improving my driving skills on it. The Integra was a great learning experience for me. So, I was super estatic when I bought my 2.5RS late last year. I have to admit, I didn't pay for ALL of it (will eventually though, it's a "long term loan" from the folks), but man, I was happy as hell and I never turned back cuz I learned how to appreciate the car I got even moreso than I would have if I had a new car given to me at a younger age. I know you probably don't wanna hear the older people saying, "At least you get a car." Try to understand where the rest of the guys here are coming from before b*tching about not getting a WRX and "settling" for a CL Type S cuz a lot of people here have jobs and have to pay for their stuff. Unless it's YOUR money that you're paying it with, then that's fine, but judging your story, doesn't sound like it.
Man...it would be so nice to have a wider choice in a "new" "free" car.

When I was 16, I drove an MK1.
When I was 17, I drove a '02 Celica GT-S Performance Package.
I'm 18, driving an' 03 WRX.
If you're gettin' a damn Honda or an Acura, Push for the S2000. Or the Integ GS-R. At least have somethin' to *** around with.

Dude you're tripping.
My first car, given to me when I was 17, was a rusty, POS, 1968 BMW 1600 2-door sedan. It was my parent's first new car.
I did all the work on it, installed a 2002 motor, full race suspension, and stereo, everything.
I finally scrapped it in August '01, and then I picked up my '02 WRX in July '02.
I believe your first car should ALWAYS be an isht car!
