Congrats to Tyson for winning that fight. His striking and defense looked great. He made that KO on Hermes look easy.

Pretty shocked he didnt get KO of the night or fight of the night.

would of been nice for him to get that extra $65k on top of his pay but I guess they felt the franklin fight was better, which I don't agree with at all...

was pretty stocked on the fights, was thinking the card was a bit weak but what a great night of fights, pleasantly surprised for sure

Yeah Tyson's fight was much more exciting to watch than Rich Franklin's fight with Vitor. That exchange with Hermes at the beginning of Round 2 was insane. I def think he should have won Fight of the Night as well.

 

With out a doubt a much better fight to watch then the Vitor/Franklin fight. Not sure when it came but the exchange when Hermes caught his leg was ****in awesome, and to finish a guy many said was not possible to finish was no small feat either. Always comes off like a really down to earth nice guy, and a ambassador for the sport in general. Cant wait to see who they throw at him next.

if you ask me I think it will be sherk again OR Maynard (I believe frankie edger is still 1-2 fights above him).

If it was Gray, that would be nuts, they are training partners and good buddies BUT I guess if the money is right...well than it is what it is, lol

yeah you might be right... with Maynard taking out Roger Huerta he really jumped up in the "ranks."

With Sherk, Sanchez and Edgar all loosing Tyson is looking pretty good right now. Too bad Sanchez probably won't be fighting any time soon. Gonna take probably 6 months before that forehead is fight ready.

I think next fight... what Joe Daddy or Edgar. I don't think he's ready for Flo yet.

The 155 class is crazy. Nate Diaz is fighting soon Lauzon is gonna fight again soon and even Matt Wiman is looking good.

Dangerous class. Unfortunately they might make Tyson fight someone ranked under him at least one more time before he gets a shot at those top 3 guys. But if he stays healthy and wins... who knows. Next year is gonna be crazy. You guys gonna stick with the sponsorship?
