I'd stay away from EcuTek, you'll be stuck with one map.

For the monster set up you are talking about you may want to get a Cobb AP so you can have a 91 map, a 100 map, a 100 + meth map etc...

Also, with EQ tuning using his custom software you can avoid the expense of paying for an EcuTek license if all you want is one map. you'll save yourself hundreds of dollars.

My ideal setup (currently) is either a GT52 or DOM3 with a huge TMIC. I really want an APS 525 FMIC all blacked out, but I'm still very uneasy about getting ref'd.

I really only want 350-400whp, depending on gas, without meth.

I hope they cant put a rotated kit togther. I like what I have read and seen from their parts. Rotated will offer the best spool I think. Least what I have read. Looks like pricing would be $3000-3800.00 which is what I am feeling better with.

I think having Autohq for the installers I hope to have a very strong car as long as the oem STi pistons can take it. Shiggy will be the tuner so really not to worried about the motor or the tune.

So running the atp gt3076 rotated,

What some recomending fmic? gdy? aps?

Utimate racing makes a gt3076r that works well with a spearco tmic. I like that idea for smog *****. But heat soak would be bad,

I'm not sure if I'll be living in the bay area after december. So I am worried about heat soak. My other home is in phx area.

AFAIK, ATP does not have a rotated setup. They invested a lot of time and money into R&D on the bolt-on turbos specifically to avoid having to go rotated. I'd say that with the 3071 and 3076, you're not going to see any significant differences with the bolt-on versus a rotated setup. ATP uses a true garret compressor housing and a very well engineered custom cast exhaust housing on their bolt-ons. I believe this makes all the difference compared to other bolt-on Garret variants that use mitsu housings.

Also, you can get away with running a big TMIC with the 3076. You will definitely be leaving some power on the table, but you can still get it running very well. If you're considering meth injection at all, then I'd say a TMIC + Meth would be the best overall solution. Great response, low key looks, and gobs of power

Thanks

ECUTek allows more than 1 map. Just need to add DeltaDash, which can actually be extremely useful for him, especially if he's getting a tune from Shiggy. Since if the tune needs to be tweaked after Shiggy heads back to Japan, he can datalog his car, send Shiggy the file, and have him tweak it and send it back. (I haven't kept up with AP, so I'm not sure if that's possible with AP.)

Oh, and I've heard rumors that the Tomei ARMS turbo is basically a RX6R. Although, probably one of the smaller ones than the one you were looking for.

From physical measurements and backed up by the power levels made and response, most tuners have come to the conclusion that the ARMS is almost certainly a td05-20g

Yeah

I had my hands on the rx6r 76-20 and the ARMS. ARMS is like half the size.

UR has those gt30/tmic set ups. I like the idea of a tmic. But worry about heat soak and top end flow.
I think ATP is the best choice in the gt3076,

Maybe a
ATP 3076
APS tmic or APS fmic
APS 3 inch turbo inlet
APS 70mm cai
APS TGV deletes
Tomei headers / uppipe
Then some Ti 3.0 -3.5 catless tbe

Also I want brand new. I dont want used.
