legal help!!! snapple co. car runs into parked car!

well this is the jist of it. my buddy phil has a crappy lil sentra with an sr20 blah blah blah...well it broke down on 87 and he left it there to get help. 10 minutes later a snapple company geo metro rear ends it in the right shoulder lane where its broken down. phil only wants the money he put into it. what should he do? thanx guys!

More than likely its totalled. Your friend will have to list modifications to the vehicle including stereo, lights, and other external or internals, to get the full value out of the car.
Don't settle for too low.
