Safely, came back home at midnight from work. I work in Oakland.
Protesting is OK as long as it's peaceful. But those looters need to be in jail. They have no respect for others. Accept the verdict and move on.

Not that it will happen but I wish footlocker would take all of those pictures and video that was taken and hire a PI and prosecute as many of those pieces of **** they could identify.

According to the Daily Californian, looters tossed clothes and shoes into the crowd. CBS5 reporter Joe Vazquez talked to one smiling young man who brandished a new pair of sneakers (4:40). The video below also shows paper being set on fire -- and someone stomping it out (3:34).
