Leasing an STi

Anyone here do it?

Can you do it?

I'd consider it if I didn't drive so many miles (+20,000/year).

If the purchase price was a realistic MSRP of say... 31k, what would be the lease payments? And what kind of lease length does Subaru offer?

you need to look at the Subaru website, it should have a payment calculator on there, otherwise, talk to a good salesperson at Carlsen or Santa Cruz.

The amount of your capital cost reduction (i.e. down payment in the leasing world), the term of your lease (3 or 4 years I think is available), determine how much your residual is, i.e. the amount that you will owe if you want to keep the car after the end of the term.

I leased my STi, I'm very happy with it.

Many people consider it financing the car, with a baloon payment at the end of the term if you intend on keeping it.

If you intend on keeping the car, then don't worry about how many miles you put on it.

You need excellent credit as well or else you will be paying way to much.

Touche! So true... I decided that rather than modding my WRX, I'll just pony up the dollars for an STi when my factory warranty expires.
