im not wearing shoes ahaha

and for anyone that wants to know, the JC programs arent your best option.

Let a department pay for you to go through their academy.

Most departments require you go through their department anyways.

Truthfully, save up some money and put youself through the police academy. I learned SO much when I was there. I recommend it to anyone. It will cost you a little, but its not too bad (stay at home)

Edit: you can pm me about info, cuz I did and I know you can too.

thanks for the advice and PM's so far guys. Some very useful tips there.

I don't have a suit but I do have some nice slacks, shirts and ties. Will that work?

I just want to make sure I can do everything I can to move forward, prepare and keep things rolling. I don't have anything to hide. I am an honest dude and about as nice as they come (and law abiding). I'd rather expose a flaw than lie. I hate lies.

Hell all they have to do is come here and search my posts and they can get a glimpse into my personal life, political views and views on laws and law enforcement.

PM'd you again. . .

If you wear slacks and shirt and tie. . .

and someone next to you wore a suit. . .

who would catch my eye first? just my two cents.

You don't need to buy an expensive one, as long as it's black/blue. NOTHING flashy haha

Yeah, that takes FOREVER

Just do the regular academy and get it done with in 5 months like I did.

PS: Don't lie or hide ANYTHING, you like and you're out.

make sure you wear a suit, your pretty much guaranteed to get canned unless you wear one.

always tell the truth about everything.

if you smoked weed... tell them so.

and apply for agencies that will PAY YOU to go through the academy.

Its worth it in the end, because they now have a vested interest in you and want to keep you on the force.

If you pay to go through an academy, first off, you dont receive the same attention to detail that you do with an academy within a police department, i know this from experience.

pm me if you want to know anything else
