if i was you i would use that warranty before it runs out.
i to have megan racing street coils w/ damper kit.
eventually they will get too bouncy... i would use that warranty and get some new ones of the same model.

The dude who said cutting your springs is a bad idea is right, cutting springs is the hoopdie way to do it. It is completely unlegit, makes your suspension handle like crap, and creates inconsistency on your four corners. If all you care about is looks tho, I say be a ricer and slam that sh*t!

Seriously, how are the coilovers not low enough for you? My big complaint with my old stance LX+'s was that even at the highest they are too low, If you scrape coming out of a parking lot that too low, if you hit a bash your front bumper in on a curb when you try and park thats too low. If you lower your car lower than the lowest setting on a coilover, you are literally going to be smashing the under carriage of your car, lol.
Why not ditch the coilovers completely and just heat your stock springs since ride quality or performance seems to be the last of your worries. Hell bring it over to my house and I'll bust out the oxy/acetylene torch and do it for you for free, for real.

Has anyone cut their coilovers to get more of a dropped height? I already loossned up the spring so it doesn't push the car up but I am thinking about tightening up the coilover and cutting it. I am thinking about cutting where it sticks out from the bottom of the coilover. I don't really know how to explain it but its the part of the coilover that moves closer to the axle boot. If I laser cut that, will I still be able to get the ride height I want?
*I am looking to get a "slammed" look.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks Fellas And Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

LOL then he gives Javier attitude just for suggesting that maybe its not such a good idea cutting the shock right in half, even when he has no idea what in the hell hes doing or even the slightest idea of how coil overs work or what any of these parts hes sawing in half are even called!
OMG so much win! He has to be trolling, no one can possibly be this stupid!!!

Cutting springs is a time honored method for decreasing ride height and increasing spring rate. There are better options, but that doesnt stop the fact that cutting springs is a viable option as long as you are cutting it the correct amount.
Sure you can cut your springs correctly, but that probably will not deliver the "dumped" ride height you want. If you cut the springs to your preferred ride height, I highly believe they will be more unstable and even dangerous to drive on. In this day and age of after market parts, just buy new springs.
But if you really are going to cut them...
Funny cause most here thinks it's going to be BAD. It's really no different than running H&R's on stock struts. H&R springs are VERY LOW and much stiffer than stock rates and doesn't make full use of the stock strut travel.
When you cut the spring, you have to cut left and right at the same spot. Cut little by little until you have a ride height you like. Do NOT over cut them because you have to keep in mind that they don't have the extra coils to take up the space where you cut the springs.
You have to cut them evenly, then test to see the ride height. Too much is bad, just cut enough. The larger sway bars will be nice because it allows the car to handle much flatter. It reduces left/right suspension travel, less rubbing if you have wide tires. Without larger sway bars, the lowered height will allow the suspension to compress more even though it's stiffer with less coils. It's not as stiff as a spring made with the right amount of coils.
Less coils are stiffer than more coils.
I have a set of Impreza L springs. I will be cutting them later sometime to test. I can even test them how much stiffer they are using my press and a weight scale.
