Arrow Laser Cutting Coilovers y0!

Has anyone cut their coilovers to get more of a dropped height? I already loossned up the spring so it doesn't push the car up but I am thinking about tightening up the coilover and cutting it. I am thinking about cutting where it sticks out from the bottom of the coilover. I don't really know how to explain it but its the part of the coilover that moves closer to the axle boot. If I laser cut that, will I still be able to get the ride height I want?
*I am looking to get a "slammed" look.
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks Fellas And Merry Christmas & Happy New Year.

well it may work but one thing is that it would certainly void the warranty. also can you show me a pic of where you'd like to cut? Most likely you would have to shorten the piston rod and move the valve body as well.

Ahhh Idc about warranty.
I just wanna get low.
Well I think its called the valve body, im not exactly sure but its the part of the coilover when you lower it, it moves closer and closer to the axle boot.

I don't think cutting anything is good. Especially suspension IMO

^Well your opinion is vague and a waste of time with no evidence or support, in my opinion.

People on here hate on people who want to dump there cars...expect that. I personaly love a dumped ride that's functional. Do whAt you want player at the end of the day it's YOUR car.

Dont cut your spring dude. just buy a smaller spring and replace it with the one thats currently in there.

If you have your car lowered correctly you wont have to even consider cutting the spring.

If you wanna be dumped, then pull the whole strut out and remove one of the rings on the coilover itself.
