Just out of curiosity, do you enjoy watching a hamster in a spinning wheel??
Real races have LEFT and RIGHT turns...
Rally (at any level) is more exciting than watching and waiting for the next crash to happen. I doubt any of those NASCRAP guys could even begin to keep up if put on a stage in a rally car...

Also some ORR drivers ... this happened at the Nevada Open Road Challenge in May 2007:

Rather than panicking, he eased out of the throttle, sensed the left side tires touch the rumble strip, steered gently to the right, felt the right side tires touch the rumble strip, gently corrected the steering, and then, as the in-car video shows the smoke clearing, it also shows the car directly on the center line exiting the turn. What a driver!"
This is what my friend had to say about his adventure afterwards:
"From my perspective it was all just a matter of survival. I had to think VERY FAST or probably die. Given those choices, thinking fast seemed the better way to go.... ;-)"
Another guy in the same community has managed to keep his car on the road after blowing not one, but two tires at 200+ mph!
Now these are supposedly "amateur" drivers ... in my book they're up there with the WRC professionals.

So, other than waiting for the cars to crash, WHAT is the thrill to watching a bunch of the same cars (with different paint jobs) go around in a left-handed circle??

Nothing is more boring than running in a straight line for 1/4 mile and driving in an oval track for 500 or so laps,
I wonder if when they are driving they get surprised (using red neck accent) "Shoooo Boy i didnt see that one coming, holy **** a left turn , Awe man almost didnt catch that one ."

its like there is nothing new with nascar.. you will almost always approach each turn exactly the same way each time.. while F1 you hit turns trying to pass and clipping the curb going 160mph into a turn then go 70 through a turn and right up against the wall and hair pin turn another way lol.. its out of control..

I don't know what you guys are talking about... Nascar drivers are by far the best drivers in the world. The reason nascar is so awesome is because they keep their 1930's car technology with those high tech carbeurators... Who needs stupid fuel injection anyways......
I mean look at one of nascars best jump in a real race car and destroy infineon raceway...

Funny how in the Race of Champions in Europe a few years back, Jeff Gordon couldnt make it because he was "sick" and the other American Nascar representitive got like 2nd to last LOL how sad.

This comming from an inbred arsehole that only knows how to turn left. It does take some amount of skill to run those cars, but NO WHERE NEAR as much talent, skill, endurance, condition to run an F1 car. I want to see those ***g0t hicks be able to withstand those Gs, actually be able to take a turn, and learn to take correct driving lines instead of bumping one another for an aero push. You have no idea how much I hate ASSCAR.
There are ONLY 2 drivers in Nascar that I respect. Boris Said & JPM. Only because they have alot of talent and came from other forms of motorsport that are far more demanding and challenging than ASSCAR.

im a sure fan of JPMontoya which by far is the most decorated driver in nascar, but aside from his win in mexico his performance in a stock car have been disappointing. oh well ill enjoy my JPM edition oakleys and hope things turn around next year
