pretty much, otherwise the bartender would just be triny to pour 1.9999999999999999.... etc beers.

heres a graphic representation of this idea.

by like the 3428932th guy, the molecules will be so separated that it wont be beer anymore, but instead parts of molecules that make up beer. so some people will be only drinking water.

i have to give racer another chance...the only one ive ever drank was sitting in a basement for a year lol. Hopefully a fresh one will taste better.

Yes, on tap is the only way. There is a place I walk to a lot in San Carlos that has it. Last night was $4.50 for 23oz but they ran out of Racer before I got there. I took a walk to take some pictures, and deposited my money from selling my hateful car (WOOOOO!) so that took a while. I drank Big Daddy which is also an excellent IPA, but a little more mild than Racer 5. Racer 5 is truly one of the finest craft beers I have tasted. They obviously take pride in their work. Lagunitas IPA is another, and it can be found up the road at Ausiello's. I tell you, SF is great but I live in one of the best places to bike around and beer yourself.

I remember I used to get $.25 PBR's at the Hush Hush back in the day. I will never understand how to explain to someone that it is ok to not like Quality Beer, but you sound like an idiot telling someone that it's bad. Unfathomable to say it's bad/something along the lines of PBR is good. Seriously, it's ok - but wow, chillax guy. That's like yelling at a Aston Martin driver from your '82 Cavalier saying "What the heel is that weird thing, *** ton, drive a real car like a Chevroolay... Gosh.. idiot.."

Still, my favorite breweries are Deschutes and Devil's Canyon. Magnolia used to be up there too - if you like Racer, you will love Maggie's Proving Ground IPA - but the last few times I have been there it's out and when they have it, it's $6/pint. Seriously their own beer is cheaper down the street at Toronado. Durrr.... Anyway.... Mmmmmmmmm..... Beeer.....

LOL not trying to start a beer war...jus sayin' i'm not fond of the racer 5. Had it on tap at the Gallery Lounge in SF...never again. You call it "Quality", I call it swill.
