Know the owner of this S2k?
Hi all, this S2k has been parked across the street from my work site for over a week now. I'm near SF Community College. Pretty sure the city is very close to having it towed. It's actually nice, and it makes me kinda sad that it's pretty much abandoned... especially since I doubt they'll care to bring a flatbed.
If you know the owner, tell them to move it!
My good deed of the year.

Yea do the chalk thing. This reminds me of when the wife & I were living over at Elan apartments in Sj. There was this nice White Nsx, 97 I think. Anyways it had been there for a good 5 months not moved in a parking garage and towing notices so out of curiosity I tried to open the door and wala! It opened and saw keys near the shifted so I grabbed them and locked the door. I called to see if the plates came back stolen but they came back clean. So I said eff it! Lol sat inside checked it out started it up and I found some phone numbers inside the glove box and called them. One girl put me through the owner who was away on business in Italy so I called him explained his car was on the verge of being towed. He said thanks and go have fun but not too much fun and that I could drive it for him...one of the best 4 months I had driving that thing...then he came back

It's a solo spot, so there isn't anywhere to move the chalk. I don't think moving the chalk a spot over would prevent it from being towed anyway. It needs to be moved from the neighborhood. They are gonna paint the curb where it's parked and all up and down the street on the opposite side. Pass it on!

The curb might not have been painted red when it was initially parked. It's parked across the street from some new construction. Construction is wrapping up and we're opening in a couple of weeks. I've been told that it's been there for weeks, but I've only been on site for a week now.

I dunno - people abandoning cars in public parking areas is kinda a pet peeve of mine.
If the dude has a car like that, he's got a garage. Let him dump the thing on his own property and leave a parking spot for someone else.
I say let em tow it - it's hard enough to find a parking spot in the city

Too late. If you know the owner, let em know SF impound has it.
I suppose I should have posted this last week. I'm not sure when they started ticketing it.
I guess it'll go up for sale in 30 days, and someone might get a killer deal? That is if any of the parts are still on it. If this was my car, it would be my worst nightmare!

Unless it's bank financed and they go and get it out of impound so they can auction it off to get some of their money back.
That's a nice looking car. I wonder what mods it has under the hood.
