Man, I understand the hurt...same thing happened to me at a Safeway in Fremont. All four panels on the driver's side. I was debating to use the insurance or not and when I checked with my policy, vandalism will not increase your rate. I paid the $500 deductable and got the job done at Creative Kustoms. It would have cost 1,000+ if I didn't use my insurance. Worth checking your policy...good luck!!

I dont understand why people do stupid things like keying cars specially if you dont even know the person and they didnt cut you off while driving like a a*sclown
i doubt it happened at your church too
id say more likely at your condo
anyone at your condo not like you or jealous of your car?

Sorry to hear about this. Some people are just mindless haters.

My GF has a RAV-4 that she bought off her parents. Her parents live in Anaheim, so it has an Anaheim phone# on the license plate surround. Some tosser wrote "Go Back To OC!" on her car last week. WTF? Who cares where she bought the car? The idiot who wrote this has no idea of who the owner is, where they live or anything else. Fn morons.

Just out of curiosity, what can you do besides bash some heads if you catch someone keying you car? If it's some kid, are the parents obligated to pay for damages? Anyone with experience with this?

as long as they are minors yes

and you can legally go after them

make sure to file a police report for official purposes, gives you much more leverage

don't quote on this - but if you don't feel like dealing with paperwork, you can deal with it how you like

every situation can be dealt with accordingly

Yeah, that sounds about right. I think mine was around 1600. Creative Kustoms will make it all better.

Its pretty low, I'd rather not post it....but supposing everything goes well and my rates dont go up, then it'll be totally worth it. (Check PM...)
