Angry Keyed!

So yeah. Thanks to whoever keyed my car. I have big scratches in my paint from my left front fender all the way to my rear tail light. I haven't driven bad, haven't cut anyone off or parked super near someone. So to all you bay area folks...I'm not sure where exactly it happened, but be careful. Freaking...subaru/me/black car/clean car haters.

I don't know. My mom says she doesn't wanna involve insurance because that'll increase the premium. Is that a good way to go about things?

you sure about that?

comprehensive claims usually do not raise insurance rates..

I would say to just go through insurance. I still have to make a claim because someone sprayed paint remover along the driver side of my car

that is really messed up...

i have run comprehensive claims before, if u notified police to make a report it makes it easier, even if it is now

(statute of limitations) u legally have 2 years to report incidents, and 2 years to make a claim from your insurance provider...

some guy kicked a dent in my 240 back in 04 and i didn't know i could claim it, so last nov i got it repaired and my insurance company went after him and got my deductible too ($50)... luckily i had the police report and some info on him or else it wouldn't have went as smoothly (but just for them... they'll still take care of u, they have an army of people working for u)

in your case it would be like when someone broke into my car while i worked up at cache creek (damn i was in security too... bastards)

they will usually deduct your deductible from the damage amount or they will have recommended shops where they'll cover everything for u (or if u have a preference they'll give them the $ directly)

hope it goes smoothly for u, sorry to hear about that damage i know where ur coming from

That crap seriously sucks.. There was some crap going on down south with the Evo WRX rivalry. Hopefully it didn't shift up north.
