The KBB price for a used 2009 335i coupe with Automatic and Nav (only options) and 1200 miles = $50K, whereas a brand new one is, $44K...They should check their algorithm, I suspect it added too much for low mileage, but if the dealer did that and showed appreciation on cars that didn't get sold, or were returned after the bank declined the loan, then the IRS would probably want to talk to that dealer, hahah.

PS: NADA = $41K
Edmunds = $39K

sooo true....

i just traded my touareg in for the sti. every dealer i went to wanted to give me 12k trade. kbb said its worth around 23k. the dealer who took my touareg called a few of there dealers friends in California, and they came up with 18500 trade! the dealers the day before said tregs "book" well, but auction wise are not selling. my dealer had the treg sold to another dealer before i signed the final papers.....

its what the market will bear.......and if the dealer/broker has a clue what they are doing....
