Exclamation Keep an eye out: Sac Area Highway Patrol crackdown on freeway speeds

Just saw a news report, they are going to try and pull over everyone for doing anything over 65 in the Sac area on highway 50 and 80 and 5 and such. So, just a warning to watch your mirrors...

I saw so many today. I was driving all over the state (and Nevada) and they were everywhere.

That they will actually give you a ticket for doing 70 in a 65.

Any specific areas mentioned? Sac is pretty large.

Oh good lord yeah, I've noticed so many pull-overs driving up and down the strip if 80 between Auburn and Roseville. Hell just yesterday around the 4-5 o'clock hour I saw 3 heading down the hill pulled over, as well as 3 more CHPs cruising up the hill...

...and a few weeks ago, I saw the group of like 3 white Camaros they use as well....teh ebil

Well, yesterday I drove from Placerville to Roseville to Rancho Cordova to Reno to South Lake Tahoe, and I saw lots of cops the whole way while in California. The most were on 80, though, between Sac and Auburn. I don't know if more of 80 was covered or not, but it seems likely. Thankfully, there wasn't that unusual of a concentration of cops east of Auburn.

Two days ago between Sac State and my work in El Dorado Hills, I counted 9 on highway 50, 3 with someone pulled over. It was ridiculous.
