I'll keep it in mind. This is for my Mom , and I think she is going to do a weekend test drive on the FX35. She really wants the FX, but has two big dogs and the rear storage are is kinda small for them.
I think she will probably end up with the Saab and the straight-6 engine

If you want come drive it over here in downtown subaru :P haha jp .. buh yea go with a rx400h, save da enviroment.

Is this a rumor or they will actually turbo it? 2.5 turbo or something else?

i'm 80% sure that it is confirmed that the h6 is gonna be turboed .. they were considering twin turbo charging for a second from what i heard but that was scratched out.

They don't want to upstage Porsche with a half price Cayenne Turbo killer...

Of course for those who can't wait Rallitek is supposedly putting together a turbo kit.

:wink wink:
The Forester just pretends to be an SUV... One look at the drivers door plate where it says "PASSENGER CAR" gives it all away, though. It's just a taller, boxier Impreza after all!

correction: the semi LUXO suv world.

they've had the forrester out. it just didnt have the lower gears (or a transfer case) like the exploder. grand cherokee, etc.

they are following in the FX/murano, the cayenne/touareg and others.

nothing more than a slightly lifted station wagon...

sigh....

when will all this madness end?

oh yeah... when the gas pumps start hitting $5...

If they do, I'm moving to Europe and buying a quick little diesel.

Cool. a 300hp Tribeca will be cool. I much rather they put in the 2.5 turbo off the Legacy.

Cheers

Forester is in the "cute ute category". Tribeca is hitting the big guns. this is where the money is. LOL my wife likes the way it looks but I will not buy a non turbo Subi. Buying a turbo then you can "improve" its performance.

Gas hitting $5/gallon is coming. Everywhere in the world they pay taxes up the wazoo so the price per liter is $1 or more. When I complained in my Euro forum they flamed me that I have the cheapest gas price even at $3 per gallon.

Cheers

Nick

exactly...sounds like you should be shopping a preowned modified Cayenne Turbo or start saving up for one. It's the only SUV that will outhandle half of the sports cars on the road today.
