So speaking of the 335i - I read on another forum that BMW has developed a sneaky/smart software system that runs a series of checks on the ECU and systems to see if anything has been taken out of factory specs (boost raised, etc) and will instantly void the vehicle warranty with any variances from factory settings. It said 54 warranties had been cancelled as of that post. Wonder if it's true...

I did read that the cars maint. light comes on according to how you drive (if it was revved high etc...)
So there is a system like that for sure because it makes the maint light come on anywhere from 13K to 20K depending on how its driven
sucks for the people who want to modify it (like me
)

you have to take inflation into account...but she did have an STi which is better
than the current penguin princess with the WRX so more posts are to be expected
