hello I just purchase a New 2003 wrx what should I do with it what boost controller should I get, the car only have 150 miles on it, I'm waiting intil 1000 mile before I start doing some major stuff with it. I already have a HKS BOV and installing a cold intake later today,
plans for the next two month
IHI turbo VF 30 or 22
sti injector
walbo fuel pump
HKS down pipe
UP pipe ( don't know which brand yet)
cat back exhaust ( please make suggestion for the most quietest exhaust)
unichip from vishnu
colder spark plugs
pulleys
MBC( which brand should I use I heard hallman was pretty good)
headers
cold air intake
what you guys think I'm also from the east bay
I also have a BPU+++ 94 supra TT

I would suggest a good amount of vishnu tuning... Vishnu does not sell the unichip anymore, Ecutek baby.. you won't be disapointed.
IMHO, the HKS downpipe is crap, especially if they have not adopted a bellmouth design yet, go with something else.
I have a full Vishnu Stage1 kit (EcuTek, turbo back exhaust, twin tip) No noise issues to worry about.
BTW, the Vishnu stage 0 kit comes with Ecutek, underdrive pully, and plugs. With the ECU reprogram, an external boost controller is not required, Vishnu just reprograms the stock boost controller to do what you need, which is great for a visual inspection.
Oh yeah, Vishnu is up in pleasington, and it's worth allocating money for dyno time.

Don't install that intake!
not yet...
Leave that car the way it is until you've done your 1000miles Get that done first, and then mod the car. Insurance man, it's for insurance.
Now, Your Mod list looks good. I also suggest ECUtek.
Now, buy and install your own stuff, mix and match, super custom, and then take your car to I-speed to get the ECUtek.
OR, just go all out Vishnu, but what Shiv carries and uses it specific, no if and or buts about it...
also, read the tech forums here and on the www.nasioc.com site
you'll learn alot, but most of all, post here in this chapter! come to our meets!
