Thumbs up Just an FYI, this year's BAM Raffle is going to be OFF THE HIZZAY!

In past years we've had some pretty cool little raffles where we gave away some neat prizes, but for this year I really wanted to step up my game and make this raffle the best one of all years combined!

Not only will we have a ton of prizes, waaaay more then in previous years, but we're going to have some really cool "high end" prizes... From parts to service. I can't tell you exactly what we're going to have this year, but know that it's going to be AWESOME!

I haven't figured out the cost of each raffle ticket, but I would like to donate 100% of the raffle money to the Fremont/Tri-city animal shelter. Not only are there really great prizes, but it's all for a really good cause.

What do you guys think would be fair for the raffle tickets? Like 3 tickets for $5? I think that's pretty fair, don't you think? We'll have clothing, parts, and service (Like for example, Omega Tint works is donating a full legal tint job for one of the raffle prizes, other vendors donate parts, clothing, and similar service prizes).

In past years not too many people even knew we were having a raffle until it started, so this year I want to throw it out there so everyone knows that there will be booty to be won.

Some super secret ****...Brucey & I are still hashing over the details of The Big Prize.

I've heard there will be the usual schwaggy stuff: crank pulleys, shirts, etc.

I'm all for a donation raffle... especially to animal shelters.

But generally speaking raffles are used to cover the costs of the events so the vendors don't have to pay a bagillion dollars to be present and you can have more stuff for the attendees without their costs being outrageous.

kudos to the vendors for stepping up this year.

I understand the love for animals, but why not donate to a humanitarian cause? There are tons of orphanages, schools, etc that need the money too.

IMHO, a starving child is a higher priority than a homeless dog.

P.S. Props for taking your time to organize everything.

Can I do a paypal for the drawing? I don't care about if there's a possibility of me winning but I'd like to donate for the animals. After my recent events with the passing of my dog...it's hit me alot more than I would have thought

True...but then what about leaving out XYZ organization? It's a tough call who to try and help and how to do it, but honestly you gotta go with what you believe is a good cause. Not saying what you would choose vs. another person's decision is good or bad, but its just up to them. Knowing Daniel and how he has a huge passion for helping animals and continously doing so is where a good part of his heart lays and thats cool with me

I completely understand where you're coming from; building's on fire & can either save my child or my dog?
Dog looses.

And, most charities that deal with people waste sooo much of the money that's donated to them.

Does this have anything to do with that thing you were doing with the vaccum and that welding torch last time I was in your shop Paul?

Or have I said too much...
