I've always wanted a really really good camera, and after I found out how much I'm getting back on my taxes this year...I decided to treat myself (=

 

learn how to ruin people's lives w/ the camera!!

 

oh believe me...I've done it with my phone...imagine 10x the megapixels...

still using stock lens and flash i assume?

or bought some goodies for it already?

 

no goodies, it was expensive enough the way it was

new camera (comes with decent lens, I don't really use flash too much so stock will do), carrying bag, extra battery, 2gig card, UV lens add-on, 2yr warranty, taxes...

I bought my wife and i the Canon EOS Rebel XT and LOVE IT. I would have liked the XTi, but money was tight

it's the friggin best though.

yeah, I picked up the XTi first, and decided on it, then I saw the XT, but it would be like first riding in an STi, then checking out the WRX...the taste is already in your mouth ya know...
