You're also more likely to be picked if you're registered to vote btw.

I've been registered to vote since I was 18. I've only been asked to go in for jury duty twice in the last 11 years.

Hardly. In general, unless its a high tech case attorneys won't want people who have pre-existing knowledge about the law. Especially if its a criminal case, no defense attorney will put you on there becuase they will typically go after an emotional response.

Are they going to ask for your student Id and a list of classes you've taken? Probably not. You didn't say you were an attorney so you will have no bar card...

If you're asked if you think you can be unbiased, say no. You'll hear something like "I'd like to thank and excuse Juror X."

My only point is that if you actually want to get off, its not hard. It can be interesting to do, however.
