My worry isn't the TOWING of the cars - it's the BRAKING. I don't know if those bikes have the stopping power for both themselves and the car behind them.

it appears that the wheels on the frame have calipers so they probably have brakes to share the stopping load. still, i'd hate to be the one who tests them or be on that bike if they fail! also, can't imagine going up or down a hill with that thing.

My guess, worth nothing haha, is that they function as tugs, and thus don't go very fast while towing, may even have a special low gear, in order to minimize inertia...they still won't stop fast, but if you're not going fast, it's enough.
