I didn't see anyone post about this, but Jack LaLanne passed away from a pneumonia at his Morrow Bay home on Sunday at the age of 96.
This guy helped create Health Spas and televised exercise routines. He was a big proponent of healthy diets & exercise.

damn, I'll bet he was still healthier at 96 than Ive ever been in my life
now the only push-ups he'll be doing are daisys, but he'll still be doing them with one hand.
BTW, this is hardcore
994 (age 80): Once again handcuffed and shackled, he fought strong winds and currents as he swam 1.5 miles (2.4 km) while towing 80 boats with 80 people from the Queensway Bay Bridge in the Long Beach Harbor to the Queen Mary.
whoa!
And loved his juicers!

What many don't know was he started on channel 7 (kgo). He had a little workout show that was on ch7.
highlights from ch7 news last night:
Born in san fran on 1914.
Opened his first gym in Oakland.
1950's was start of tv show on ago.
Show was syndicated from Hollywood to become what we know today.
This man ruled.... RIP.JACK...
