itsallgook custom FMIC install and pics

chris is one of my friwends and wanted an FMIC, i told him i coudl do it , that was 2 months ago ... we started yesterday and finished today .. godammit this things a ***** to install . total 13 hrs including fabricating time... enjoy the pics


BTW, my dubmass cut one of the mounts for the sti fog covers so thats whyt eh res tape until the epoxy dries.
















2 inch to 2.25 piping. mandrel.


should be sufficient for 350+... imo the APS one is rediculously huge the greddy one has a lot of piping transisiotns 2 inch to 2.25 to 2.5 to 3 blah .. mines simple and fits well ...

hahah right now im not sure if i want to .. its a lotta welding and a big pain in teh *** maybe if another wrx comes along thast willin to pay me and wait a lil longer for me to make af ew more kits off his car

I think i see it left of the throttle body, in the 1st pic...

although, wouldn't you want it after the intercooler, before the throttle body. And not after the turbo before the intercooler?

1- its louder near the turbo, theres more pressure there

2. the point of hte bov is to protect yoru turbo, not yoru thrrotle body.


3 i am only gonna do bay area installs and fmic itll be too hard to make a kit and try to produce it. it takes 2 days to do.
