Unhappy It's not that I hate washing my car...

but this is the second time after washing my car I find something wrong on the body, the rear left bumper (again). There's a nice long oval scuff on the bumper near the tire, just inches from the previous scratch I'd gotten fixed months ago. My guess is someone that parked next to me at my work's parking garage got me as they were backing out to leave.

as i don't have the money to fix it at the moment, i just put a layer of wax on it. do you think i can wait a couple of months before getting it taken care of? of course, i hope that i can buff it out myself, but we'll see.

*sigh*

What's up Aya! Grrr I hate it when inconsiderate co-workers/schoolmates damage the baby! My bumper looks like it's been hit by birdshot in someplaces - all to complement the 7" scratch across the lower back corner >=(
I think it might be a good idea to get it fixed ASAP since rainy season will soon be upon us. Maybe touch-up paint and a nice wax job would work? Good luck!

yeah some remedial touch up paint to ensure that moisture does not get where it could do some damage. I have a scratch on mine that I touched up until I talk to my buddy who does paint and body for a living.

I'm hesitant to wash the Old Skool 280ZX I bought 2 weeks ago tomorrow, because I'm worried that haze over all the paint (except the part on the hood and fenders that used to be covered by one of those lame-*** bras old ladies all get) won't turn out to be wax and I might have to have it wet-sanded or something. Yikes, $1500 to restore paint on a $1200 car...

I also washed my car on Saturday and found more chips in the paint. I am really getting sick of this cheap **** paint job on these cars.

Anyways, so I get done washing her, go inside, and come back out, not more than 5 minutes later, and the neighbors cat is already laying on my front hood again, and there are paw prints going right across my hood. I shooed the cat off and screamed profanities outloud. But there is really nothing I can do about it. Except put a car cover on the car. But that is why I bough a car canopy. Damn cats.
