well I love the Kartboy shifter bushings/short shifter kit the most
coming from an ITR and S2k owner the stock shifter on the STi sucked *****.

 

so what does knock or detonation sound like?

 

it sounds a little like........me muahahahahahhahahahahahaha

but really

knock: imagine the sound an open, half full can of beer sounds when you squeeze it lightly. if this is happening you will want lots more beers

detonation: imagine a turdload of coins dropping onto a metal sheet. this happens and a turdload of coins drops out of your bank account.

 

I wanna say the 100 octane part is probably a placebo effect in your head. Mike or Ed correct me here if I'm wrong; but I'm under the impression putting 100 in a car tuned for 91 actually makes it slower due to it running richer without added timing/boost to compensate.

Now that I think back, the 100 octane thing happened before I got the tune, with a stock 91 factory map.
