Yeah, I have to admit that an '88 white LX 5.0 5spd fastback would really do it for me, especially if it had some suspension upgrades and '98 Cobra wheels.

agreed they look great with those five spokes *drool*


88 was the first year of the air mass? or was it the last with out?

I think 88 was the first year for MAF. They also had the better heads after 87 as well.

Do it man! There is no reason not to. It wont be yoru daily driver, you (and everyone else for that matter) know they are piles of ****. But if I was given the oppurtunity I would rock the **** out of one. Murder it out as you say and have a fun little car. Worse thing you can do is hate it in a year and sell it. After you make it to where you want it, maybe you will get close to breaking even. If not you knew it was an irrational desire to begin with...

I'm waiting for this guy to e-mail me back. It's the right car in the wrong color. No big deal on that one.

I've already figured out where the Evolution body pieces can be sourced among other things. A bug has bitten me.
