It's a Justy... there are a lot of reasons that is irrational.

[runs to CL to check on Justys for sale]

I'm just really itching for another toy. I have a line on something that I'll know about Friday morning. :fingerscrossed:

I've always been a fan of the starion/conquest. I could totally drive one of those. If I'm getting an 80's mercedes...it's a 560 SEC. Then I'd bump sir-mix-alot all day.

What're you going to do with the other one?

My irrational desire... for my mercedes to run!

Me too!! There was a silver one for sale with a blown motor for $200 recently! It even had the nice 5 spoke wheels. I see so many awesome cars that I should never purchase on CL.

Jen and I talked about it. If it works out and I get another Justy or my Impreza should run again some day, the Justy is yours if you want it. Air horn and all.

Haha, I'd have to see if my HOA will allow it given I'm bringing up the benz soon too (not that its running properly). That'd be 5 cars for one household!

Yeah, that could be an issue, but the Justy is really only .5 car so it should work.

Ya it is funny that you mentioned Top Gear, because I just started watching the 3rd season, and your post reminds me of the first episodes (where the black STIG "dies") When Clarkson is talking about the new (then) M5 and how ugly it is, they compare it to a Jag and a Mercades. James asks Clarkson "don't you own a Mercades? How have you enjoyed it over the summer?" and he replies "It has been the shop the entire time. It goes in broken, comes back more broken, goes back again. That is pretty much Mercades ownership"

I understand though...I have had the "irrational" desire for an 03-04 M3 lately

Wait, are we just talking about automotive irrational desires, or are other irrational desires fair game to discuss as well?
