Hey Guys, I've been mostly lurking on this site for the past couple of months saving up some cash to get a WRX, and it looks like the time is (finally) here.

I was quoted 22,236 for a bare 2003 w/ just the Auto Dimming mirror compass.

I was wondering what the 2003 and 2004's are going for so if you've recently bought one or know somebody who has send me a PM. Or if you know somebody in the area (I live in Milpitas) who's selling a low milage wrx PM me.

5 speed or automatic? If it's 5 speed that's not the super-great deal, but it's pretty good for a 4EAT.

The mirror itself is like 200-300 (msrp) though. Check the prices with Carlsen Subaru in Redwood city.

Talk to Munzer (the internet manager) at Albany Subaru. Don't talk to anyone but him. He has stock 2003 WRXs for less than that.

$20,895 if I remember correctly.

That quote was for a 5MT. These are all initial e-mail quotes haven't made any counter offers yet.

Thanks for all the info guys,

I've contacted the usuall suspects, and seems like there are some excellent deals to be had out there on the 2003's!

I'll let you guys know how things turn out.

It costs them more to leave it on the lot unsold (especially if it's been on the lot longer than the other 03's) than to sell it to you for $21k. But congrats on your new wrx!
