Integra VS. Civic Question
So on saturday night me and a bunch of friends are leaving the city and are about to get on 280...im driving this girls bone stock 2000 integra LS automatic and my buddy is driving his daily beater a 2002 honda civic LX automatic stock also...we pull up next to each other and floor it off the line and he SMOKES me in that POS civic...i kno the intergra is a POS also, but shouldnt an integra do better then a civic?? He kept pulling on me until he hit 110 and hit his fuel cut-off and i passed him doin 120 then i let off...you guys probably have no expirience in this area, just thought i'd ask you guys cuz there is no way i am gonna post on clubsi...btw...did any of you guys see us fly by you??...it was a black civic coupe and a white integra sedan we were on 280 then later we got on 85...also please dont flame me for this 
it was like 3:00am on a saturday night with like no cars on the road...

Hmmm....maybe you had more weight in the car. Also, I don't think that a base integra (i.e. not a GS-R) has a whole lot more power than a civic (i think it puts out around 130....at least the old ones did and a civic LX is around 116 - 120, not sure). So considering the weight difference, I wouldn't be surprised if a stock Civic would beat a stock integra in a straight line. Don't quote me on anything, caus the only honda in the family is a '97 Civic DX and thats somewhere around 108hp (or less).

i kno~!..it was the funniest thing ever...im on the gas and the car is not going ANYWHERE!....the only time i hit 120 is when i was going downhill....I am SO GLAD i do not drive a honda!...the honda i had was an 87 legend coupe...but that was a 5 speed and it was a V6 so it wasn't half as bad as an automatic integra...plus that was my first car...

The integra had 2 girls and 2 guys and the civic had 2 guys...i'd say the weight difference was maybe 300 lbs...i'd say with 25 more HP and 14 more ft lbs of torque the integ should still hang...what do you think?

ok, ok ...... I also have 380 HP but still!!!
