Installed New Fuel Pump now Fuel Light Doesn't Work
A few weeks ago my roommate and I installed a new Walbro 255lph Fuel Pump in my '03 WRX. Last Monday I ran out of gas because the Fuel Gauge never got to Empty and the Fuel Light never came on. I just filled up gas again today and again the Fuel Gauge is not on Empty and the Fuel Light hasn't come on, but I put in a little over 15 gallons of gas today when I filled up.
I really can't have my car's fuel gauge not working properly or else I could very well end up running out of gas again (and that Really Sucked!). Did we mess up something with the float when installing the new Fuel Pump? Is there something else I can check to see if it is messed up (like a fuse or something)?

had an old dodge caravan that had a wonky fuel level sender.
learned to drive off the trip mileage, I have never liked to rely on the gauge :/
+1 on a feuked float wiper switch-rheostat apparatus
