injectors leaking

I just installed my vf 34 and pink injectors. I reflashed the ecu, filled up the coolant and now was trying to start it only to hear a bunch of fuel hitting the garage floor. I think its just the passenger side injectors that are leaking. The thing is though I thought I installed them 100% perfect so I have no clue what could be wrong. Anyone has any ideas?

Did you use new o-rings, and grease them?

Sti pinks I would assume for that turbo. Were the injectors new or used? If new then the o-rings should be fine even if you didn't lube them up before installing. Did you remember to install the bottum o-ring/spacer that goes between the injector and the TGV stack? New/Used injectors don't come with this piece as you re-use the one the stock injectors sat in. Sometimes when removing stock injectors they will fall off or get misplaced. Thats all I can think of without actually seeing it in person.

They are new STi Pinks. I greased the orings and did use the bottom spacer from the stock ones. I'm thinking they might not be seated in the fuel rail completely or something. I'm so tired from working on the car today so I'll check it out tomorrow.

yea most likely it is just off a bit or one of the o-rings ripped. Just pop off the fuel rail and inspect the rings. if fine then place them both back in and slowly tighten the two 12mm bolts that secure the rail. also make sure nothing is being pinched and when the rail tightens down the injectors are secure. then to test, prime the fuel system a few times while having someone hold their hand around the injector to make sure no fuel is leaking.

Exactly what I did when my injectors were leaking. One of them I tore the o-ring and the other wasn't properly situated in the fuel rail. Like I said in your other thread with the GBOD, it's all about patience.
