btw how can it be more high quality esp the 1st stage? are they going to remake/redraw the whole thing?!? although the subtitling could be done a little better... same people that did love hina series i think.. i feel like i'm missing something they are not subbing.

I have the whole collection Chris. If you want to see them let me know. I have first stage, second stage, and third stage on DVD. I also have battle stage and extra stage.
First stage is three DVDs.
Second stage is three DVDs.
Third stage, extra stage, and battle stage are all one DVD each.
So your grand total of the whole collection should be 9 DVDs.
Hooke? hahaha Funny Chris. In any case, I am waiting for the next set of Initial D shows/movies. I think they are going to call if Project D or something along those lines.
Innitiiaaaaalll DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
"Spaceboy" Song playing in the background.

3 Disc DVD set from Japan?
Bzzzt. Wrong.
You have an HK DVD set.
Initial D from Japan was released in a 7 disc boxset, or 7 seperate discs.
http://www.amotokyo.com/default.asp?...dia=DVD&navi=7
That's for the real japanese release.
It wasn't subtitled in English, and it was Region 2 as all Japanese discs are.
The quality I was referring to was the DVD mastering. HK discs leave a lot to be desired in general, whereas Japanese DVD's (with very few exceptions) are extremely high quality (typically better than american DVD quality).
Initial D 2nd Stage was 13 episodes released on 5 discs in Japan. Once again it wasn't subtitled in English, as is typical for most japanese discs. (the only real exception to this is the recent Studio Ghibli Japanese discs which are fantastic with very good translations)
All the *** discs were also in 5.1, which is normally left out or poor quality in HK discs.
