Question Inexpensive GPS Portable Navi ?

Anyone have any suggestions on an inexpensive, easy-to-use gps navi with text-to-speech capability ? Under $150 preferable.
Thanks for any info.

www.woot.com usually has good deals on GPS every now and then

also their side deals sometimes have GPS systems really cheap.

if not, hit up costco, they might have the sony one for 120 like they did before.(if you have a membership)

dealnews.com finds some good deals sometimes, but its really difficult to find a "good" gps with text to speech for a cheap price

a while back i got a navigon 2100 with text to speech, it works, but is kind of slow when recalculating and sometimes has a bad signal, but hey, it was only 80 bucks plus tax

We picked up an Omnitech at Staples (house brand) a couple weeks ago. It was on sale at the time for $89 after rebate and my wife had a $25 coupon... so it was a $64 GPS.

But it works fine. 4.3" widescreen. Does text to speech. Seems to have a good enough list of POI's, finds restaurants and gas stations and hospitals and bunch of other stuff.

Check it out, they have an easy return policy, 2 weeks. If you don't like it, take it back. no loss.
