On SFGate it says his name is Jerell Puno. What an idiot. Pisses me off. The victim was just 21.

Does anyone know where to look up CHP calls online? Might be able to grab a lic plate number/crosscheck against pics from the BAIC meet.

AW STi, Green MBZ Guy did not look drunk at the scene, tv showed him handcuffed getting tossed into back of CHP Cruiser How many more people from my town gonna die this month in car related crap? This is 3 in less then a week. One of my Best Friends died on 580 10 years ago, rear tire blew out casuing car to overturn and killed my friend from inpact on roof and what not
As far as being drunk I hope he wasn't but still a shame he was going so fast. MBZ was turned into a 2 door in that accident

I was on treasure island when this happened. My friends and I saw SSOOO many firetrucks, cops, and ambulances all backed up cuz they couldnt get through the traffic. It was just this giant bunch of flashing lights and sirens all congested in one area. Only the biker cops were getting through. We saw black smoke too. I took pictures, but they're probably kinda blurry. They tried sending out units from treasure island but they were all stuck in traffic too. On our way back is when the power on the whole bridge cut out. I took pictures of that too...we had no idea what was going on but it was pretty cool sight to see the bridge all dark. Sorry to see that it was caused by some anonymous subie

Damn I hate hearing about **** like this!
Do you all remember the last few times they closed the bay bridge for the Memorial Weekend? I remember Bart running 24-7 and going out everyday, taking a cab to Bart, and then taking off into the city. It was great, being able to get smashed, not have to worry about DD's and getting back on Bart and going back to Oakland and grabbing a cab home.
I remember looking around and observing all the people who were tore up and thinking, "Damn, these are the cats that brave it and cross the bridge after drinking up the night."
Then I wondered, Why on earth would they NOT leave Bart running on late, say 4Am, on Saturday/Sunday mornings? I am sure a LOT of these DUI's and bridge issues would not go down. Not to say no one would drive from Bart to their house drunk but still I think it would probably help. Who knows ???
I think the bay area needs to get behind some new hours of transportation. Granted it would cost more to run but I do think a lot of people would take advantage of such an opportunity.

I don't think its green.. From the video, the green car was the Benz, and the car loaded on the Flat bed at the end of the vid was a white/gold 04-05.... front left fender didn't burn all the way. So you can see the white right behind the headlight..
Sad nonetheless.. =(
