Theres only a few other girls around w/ modded subies... you won't be the ONLY one but I wouldn't let that stop you from fixing up your car.

There's a few female WRX owners here on the boards. Ayapon and babysmurf are perhpas the most well-known here; they both know their stuff.
As for my advice, I'd go like this:
1. Silencer removal with Green panel filter
2. New wheels and tires (the stockers are super sucky)
3. Minor suspension work (strut bracers, etc.)
4. Boost controller and other gauges/electronics
5. Uppipe
6. Turboback or downpipe+catback
7. Brakes and brakelines
8. Major suspension work (coilovers, or new springs and dampers)
From here you should have a very effective street machine, but if you want more:
9. New turbo
10. New intercooler and hoses (ASAP after the turbo)
11. Swap out stock airbox for a short ram (Blitz LM, HKS supersuction, or ARC special box if you intend on off-roading)
12. New BOV (avoid the atmospheric ones; this isn't my area of expertise so don't quote me here...)
13. Transmission work (STi 6 speed, new clutch like Exedy or Ogura, possibly new flywheel)
14. Interior work (Racing seats, roll cage, "car diet", etc.)
15. Cosmetics (aerodynamics, etc)
After every power-enhancing step, make sure you either get your ECU reset/reflashed, or if you have the means (skills, tools, electronics) you can DIY you ECU.
Good luck! Welcome to the world of addictive Impreza motoring

Weird, I could swear I saw a similar post like 6 months ago with a similar female-ish name in the ej20t forum. Weird.

Andre are you trolling? Heh.

4)Cat back exhaust
5)Upgrade the brakes.

After doing all the upgrades above, then
consider modding the engine if you don't
mind the extra wear and tear on the engine.
i agree with charlie on the mods. i am a HUGE fan of improving the handling of the car before any power mods. in addition, before even modding your car, you should get comfortable with how it drives...

and yes! i am a resident uckk attendee and a girl *gasp* i also track my car, so if you have any questions about driving in addition to ur mods, come find me at a uckk meet

w3rd.

fix the problem behind the wheel before you start messing around with your brand new car.

also, a set of S-03s or other max perf tire will take your driving experience to a whole new level if you enjoy driving the car and not just telling people about it and showing it to people.

the bottom line is that you're going to get a different answer from each person you talk to, so learning about the pros and cons of each mod you make is the only way to make sure you're doing things to make your car "better" for you.

good luck and welcome to the club y0!!
