to put it nicely they are going to be very **** when they inspect your car at the ref so if anything is changed you will most likely fail, its sucks because they act like they are god.
specially the ref at wyotech in fremont he is a di**head. he failed my v8 conversion because i used a 3 way cat rather then the factory 2way and 1 way cats from ford.
so yeah dont go there if you dont have to.

Assuming that we can do it all in 1 day, I should be able to help a couple hours on sunday.
I will let you know.

Dont go to the state REF at las positas college he is a *****. HE got me for my apexi turbo timer and says that it allows me to adjust my air fuel ratio. I had the state Ref on the phone with apexi and they even told him that the turbo timer wouldn't adjust air/fuel. He still wouldn't pass me on the visual inspection. So just watch out for the ****ing REF's.

hmm thats odd. was it an older asian guy? I did my state ref there awhile back and even though my car was back to stock I still had my gauges hooked up, apexi turbo timer, and apexi AVCR all in the car and they were all still hooked up. passed without him saying a word about them.
