on a more serious note, I think trading in for a older year (regardless of mileage) should never accumulate to that much.
The 08/09's look alright, but like said before, it'll take alot of $$$ to make it stand out in a good way and increase performance, as opposed to jsut dumping into your current rex.

Man, That is truely a tuff choice. I myself have a 05 STI and love it to pieces, but I also hear mixed reviews on the 08. I love the body though, Hella clean with so much potential. Let us know what your choice is please?
BTW, Your ride is SICK!!

doesn't matter if you're talking about, cars, clothes, or girls, there will always be something newer, bigger, better, more pretty, etc out there. at some point, you have to learn to be content or work with what you already have.
if you have $$$$ to literally blow, go ahead, but, again, something else will always be around the corner that you'll want. it's a vicious cycle.
if you really like the 08 that much, i'd wait a litlte bit and pick up a used one. you're going to lose about $10k in less than a year on a new one anyways. people are having all sorts of fire sales on things they couldn't afford, esp cars. it's gonna happen a lot more in the next year.

well whatever you do, do not pay msrp for an 08 STI. You should be able to get a base model for 32-33 OTD. I've had them offer as low as 29.5 OTD. Those wheels would look fine on an 08 and it would deffinitely be worth it...

Seriously get some reviews from owners... and maybe hitch a ride from someone who has one. If you like it... then start thinking if its worth your money... how bad do you need more horses... how bad do you need the six speed. Then after you make all those decisions start thinking money... oh boy the possibilties
